The "Storybook" Summary
In plain English: We only collect what we need to make your child a hero. We never sell your data to villains (advertisers). We keep your family's details locked in a magic vault of encryption.
1. Information We Collect
To create a personalized adventure, we collect specific details provided by you. This includes your name, email address for account management, and your child's first name and general physical characteristics (hair color, eye color) to generate the custom AI illustrations.
Note: We do not require or collect surnames, home addresses, or school names of children.
2. Children's Privacy
StoryGlo is designed for parents to use for their children. We strictly adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. All data must be entered by a verified adult.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your information is used exclusively to:
- Generate personalized story text and AI-driven illustrations.
- Deliver the digital and physical storybooks you order.
- Send updates about your order or important service changes.
- Improve our AI models (anonymized and aggregated only).
4. Keeping the Kingdom Safe
We use industry-standard SSL encryption for all data transfers. Your child's generated images are stored in private, secured servers and are never made public unless you explicitly choose to share your story link with others.
5. Your Magic Wand (Rights)
You have full control over your data. At any time, you can:
- Request a copy of all data we have stored for your account.
- Update or correct any information.
- Delete your entire account and all associated child profiles and images permanently.
